Theme: Chinese identities and values
Sports studies: Skills to identify and discuss the social and cultural significance that sport has for individuals and for society1
Unit aim:
Students will have the opportunity to:
- investigate Chinese identities and values
- investigate New Zealand identities and values
- explore identities and values within their own class and school environment
- describe how Olympism (Olympic Ideals) can enhance participation in sport and games.
