Theme: Chinese identities and values

Sports studies:Skills to identify and discuss the social and cultural significance that sport has for individuals and for society1

Unit aim:

Students will have the opportunity to:

  • investigate Chinese identities and values
  • investigate New Zealand identities and values
  • explore identities and values within their own class and school environment
  • describe how Olympism (Olympic Ideals) can enhance participation in sport and games.
